Mission Statement

I started Skinny Bliss to share what I’ve learned over the years and continue to learn on the daily journey and adventure of working towards and achieving weight loss and fitness goals. I’ve been passionate about fitness, dieting, weight loss, fat loss for a long time. I have been both a certified personal fitness trainer as well as a competitive racewalker. I am always on the lookout for the latest news and the credible scientific research that helps us learn more about how to maintain health (and sanity!) by finding the methods and strategies that work best to reach fitness and weight loss goal. That is blissful!

Sure we want to get into our skinny jeans and our little black dress, but more than that, we want to live active and meaningful lives, and not be encumbered by the health conditions that being overweight or obese can cause. That’s the mission of Skinny Bliss, to help readers find the cutting edge, real world solutions to achieve goals — whether they be to lose weight, get fit, maintain weight loss, or to work on the issues that may impede reaching the goal — as well as to start a community of the like-minded.
