Season 10 American Idol runner up Lauren Alaina has lost 25 pounds in five months. She has shared her weight loss tips in a recent interview with US Weekly. The 16-year-old singer from Rossville, Georgia said of her success, “Changing my diet was the big thing. “I had to learn correct portion control.”
Although she did not reveal her starting weight, her height is 5’7,” according to the publication. She did share the diet plan and workout routine that helped her to achieve the weight loss, even as she noted that she has not yet reached her goal weight: “I’m 10 pounds from my goal — almost there! I wear size small and extra-small now!”

She also talked about her workout routine, noting that it consists of squats, push-ups and crunches.
