The fitness expert and co-host of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars is famously in shape after the birth of four children and has shared her techniques in several workout DVDs — four of which are newly released this year including ‘Transform Your Body with Brooke Burke – Tone & Tighten.’
If anyone knows and lives a hectic schedule, we imagine it must be Brook Burke Charvet, and she is, as noted, fabulously in shape, as evidenced by a recent photo shoot on the Malibu beach.
So what’s the secret to getting fit with such a workout that even for the most exercise adverse might spark a modicum of interest? The key is to work multiple body parts in one-minute intervals to be combined into a total workout of 30 minutes up to 60 minutes. The components target lower body, core and upper body exercises.

It’s the system she lives by. She was profiled in a recent interview and explained that she spends just five hours a week with her total exercise routine, and is otherwise living an active life. That’s key, being active outside of a formal workout, as we learn more and more about the dangers of a sedentary lifestyle — for overall health, not just weight management.
